Welcome!

After receiving my BA in English from the University of Virginia in 2017, I followed my love of stories into the classroom, earning my MA in Elementary Inclusive Education from Teachers College at Columbia University and later moving to the Colorado mountains to teach elementary school. My work is greatly influenced by the mountains as much as my time as an educator, and in particular by the students that I taught. Being a teacher will always be an important part of who I am. 

Since leaving the classroom, I have dedicated my time to developing my art and storytelling practice. For me this looks like creating art from a place of joy and healing, designing in collaboration with mission-driven organizations, leading workshops and class series focused on play and creativity, natural dyeing and upcycling fabrics into quilts and garments, and exploring themes of shame, grief, and mental health through illustration, writing, and fiber.
